How Is that?|||Unfortunately with most identity theft it is easier for the thief than the victim to prove ownership of the disputed identity than the actual person. In some cases the theft has taken place years earlier and or it happens in a country where there is little or no corporation between them and the US. Both Law enforcement agency%26#039;s and the victims need to take more care and pay more attention to this as it make all of us more vulnerable to terrorists in all of their permutations.
|||I saw a show on Dateline NBC called %26#039;To Catch an ID thief%26#039; with Cris Hanson. From watching that show i learned that most identity thieves live in other countries. They use public computers and it is nearly impossible to catch them. And even if they get caught, there isn%26#039;t much our country can do about it since it is an international scheme.|||Thieves must be incarcerated and policemen must track them even when they change their address.|||Are you seriously asking why every criminal is not caught? For the same reason you don%26#039;t get a ticket every time you turn right on red without a complete stop.
