How do i stop tor/jap from doing this?

Okay so at the moment i have tor and I've had it for about a month now. Its running fine and all but i signed up to a website that logs me out when my ip address changes. Is there anyway to stop tor from changing your ip address automatically and maybe set it to change after a certain amount of time or only change when i manually click new identity? Ive also read about a service a little like tor called Jap. I haven't found anything about setting Jap to change your ip address after a certain amount of time, but i haven't really looked that much either. Can someone help me?

Tor/JAP/etc. are DESIGNED to change your IP address every so often. There's probably not an option to control this behavior, since it would make your browsing much more easily traceable. I would suggest turning off your anonymous proxy for that site. If that is not an option then you could try to find a %26quot;regular%26quot; SOCKS or HTTP proxy server.
