People (ppl) can use the same name on Yahoo Answers. If your profile is public keep it private that way ppl can't e-mail telling you to change your name. You can keep it, change it, or add a number or a heart (?) You can type it as
%26amp; hearts ; without the spaces or if you are on a desktop you can press ALT and 3 on the numeric side of the keyboard. Hope this helps and it can turn out that person maybe has less points that you and is newer than you.

There's no restriction on user name - they don't have to be unique.
Its unfortunate, but why not keep the same name but put a number after it so we know which ones which.
Every site has attention if that name already exist, other can't use, so if in others sites we chose nick name which has other person, we have attention and must change nick name, I wonder how yahoo answers hasn't this option, I hope in future that going to be solved.
There is a USERNAME and a NICKNAME.

but my nickname is ALI B.
so it shows up ALI B.
you guys probably have different usernames, but the same nickname.
You can't have the same email address, not so much a handle. What makes you think they took the name because you have it?
There are so many people on these boards, I doubt if they know you even exsist.
I am sure the accounts you claim you have gotten deleted was not just an isolated incident, due to you. It takes more then one complaint.
Put a ? or ? or something nice after your name.
