im 19, and just a few years ago, i really didnt have any identity, but within the last 3 years, i've drastically changed and am constantly developing into the unique person im finding in myself. and i seem to always be going through different phases in my attitudes and behaviors and perspectives, developing more and more everyday. what about you?
How old were you when you developed your identity?
When I moved and began to adjust, basically the past 4 years. But only recently do I feel content with who I am and what I have made myself out to be.
How old were you when you developed your identity?
over the last few months, im 14
Not yet.
I'm 19 too ,, %26amp; seems like people have started to talk to me more maturely %26amp; i've learnt alot ..
I'm still developing my identity though
You keep changing not only physically...It's not something that just happens one day and stays for life...Haven't you heard of %26quot;People change?%26quot;
it depends on how you define identity.
if you define your identity by your values - those arent likely to change.
but if your definition of identity is your actions - then the past 2 years. and im 20.
but i believe that we are always changing - and that nothing is constant.
42.
I have a crazy idiosyncrasy
Its affinity to serendipity
And this eternal epiphany
No hypocrisy or duplicity
dear dreamer, well, keep on watching. 2 years later you will see that you have much changed from what you believe to be your identity now. every last thing known to humanity changes every instant except perhaps one. and for a good reason.
now think, which is real you: the one now or one 10 years before, or one 10 years later? surely in different times you'd answer this question differently. which one of them would be wrong? this simple experiment shows only simple thing: truth is conditioned. as is identity. thus, clinging towards it is of no use: as a mirage ever changing thing evades the hunter at all times. thus i have forsaken identity to know it for what it is. then i was 22.
good luck.
