Say something terrible happened to you and the only way to continue living was to change your identity. You would have to ditch your name, accomplishments, friends, home, some of your family members, and basicly your whole life.
I personaly couldn't live with this.

Honestly... this would not bother me at all. Though lying (sp) in general... sadly... doesn't really bother me...
I would get used to it. Its way better, from my perspective, to live than be killed if someone was looking to kill me. i agree with the person above me.

Honesty is always the best policy. People accept us when we show that we too are only human and we all make mistakes. Surround yourself with those who love you and help you and those who don't avoid...
Short of breaking the law and facing a long prison sentence, there is nothing that should cause you to change everything in your life. Whatever it is, you should be able to talk to someone concerning the incident and live through the pain. Running for the rest of our life is not a life, it is living hell - seek help soon.
Depends on the circumstances, If its because i testified to put a leader of a crime organization than yeah i think i could do it. As long as i have some one to help me throuhg it like a wife or a child or someone. If it was because i did something like rob a bank or murder someone i would fess up and deal with the consequenses. I would never choose death unless it was to save another life.
Hello, Wish I knew more about your life situation...if your life depended on it then I would say go with a new id but that would be the only reason I would do that, like if you had some kind of fatal attraction...I could understand that .Where I work at there was illegals who did that %26amp; they eventually got found out %26amp; fired. Living a lie isn't being true to yourself...couldn't you just move to another state on the other side of the country? Anyway good luck %26amp; God bless

I guess if you are a witness why leave have a bodyguard, because if someone is going to kill you, they want you and will hurt others to get to you and then you, IF they are serious, or/and seriously deranged. I don't thnk I could leave EVERYTHING. Because when you are in protection you can't have contact with ANYTHING, you left behind. Get it! or not i'm not very clear
