I tried going into my account and editing aliases and identities - didn't work. I don't want to create another account. Please Help
Does anyone know how to change your username on Yahoo Answers?
How to change your Yahoo! Answers screen name:
(1) Firstly go to your Yahoo! Answers profile
(2) Click the hyperlink that says 'Edit my info'
(3) In the Nickname box enter a new one (you have 21 characters to work with)
(4) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click 'Preview'
(5) Scroll down to the bottom of the next page and click 'OK'
Now your Yahoo! Answers screen name will have been changed.

If you meant your Yahoo! ID: It is part of your email address and cannot be changed.
The only way you can change your Yahoo! ID is by making a new one.

Not a problem, it's fairly simple to do. Go to your Yahoo! Answers profile page by click the 'my profile' link found towards the top right-hand side of this page. Now processed to click the blue 'edit my info' link. The first option on the page shall be to create a custom nickname. Simply type in what you would like to be displayed and preview and save all changes.
